In this role you will set and operate a variety of manual and machine tools producing new and refurbished components to assist with the refurbishment and assembly of overhauled equipment in the workshop and assist with the supply of associated spare parts.

The role:
1. Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers & milling machines
2. Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and that all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained to a high standard
3. Work with Team Leader/Manager to ensure accurate and on time completion of machining requirements
4. Completing Workshop Documentation, Quality Plans, Workshop Instruction and all relevant Inspection records to meet departmental daily/weekly work schedules
The person:
5. Time Served craftsperson in appropriate discipline
6. Extensive experience of manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers & milling machines
