Healthcare for Older People / Rehab Unit We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, highly motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse, (experienced or newly qualified) to join our friendly team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust- Healthcare for Older People Unit based at the South Molton Community Hospital site. Hugh Squier Ward is a 20 bedded adult unit predominantly delivering acute and rehabilitative care to our patients. We also care for a small group of patients that have neurological conditions and require treatment and rehabilitation. We provide excellent care, with an emphasis on advanced discharge planning and work very closely with our Ward Multi-Disciplinary Team. Good interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a team, along with a positive attitude towards change are essential to the role. We can offer you a diverse working environment whilst allowing you to develop your clinical skills, knowledge and expertise giving you the opportunity to gain advanced specialised skills to care for patients with complex needs. The successful candidate would be supported in the role with ongoing training and access to a wide range of learning opportunities. This post will require you to work rostered shifts over the week which includes days/nights.
