Salary: Up to £ 44,100 per annum (Depending on experience)

Compassion's established international Food Business programme aims to drive transformational change for animal welfare enabled by a reduction in the reliance on animal sourced foods and a shift towards regenerative farming. We are now seeking an experienced sustainability expert to join our Food Business team.
About the role
The Food Sustainability Manager is a dynamic, solutions-focused role, aimed at inspiring companies in the UK and beyond to reduce their reliance on animal-sourced foods and embrace protein diversification as part of our mission to end factory farming. Key responsibilities include:
1. Building networks within the sustainability and food systems community.
2. Developing tools to strengthen the business case for change.
3. Providing technical expertise to support meaningful corporate commitments within sustainability and CSR frameworks.
4. Managing initiatives like the "Less and Better" Scorecard.
5. Recognising progress through the Planet-Friendly Awards.
6. Promoting best practices and developing resources to inspire industry transformation.
7. Representing Compassion in World Farming at industry forums, roundtables, and coalitions.
As the Food Business expert on sustainability, you will drive change by advocating for sustainable, ethical food systems and ensuring our mission is effectively communicated.
