We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Additive Manufacturing Team Lead to join the Additive team, based on-site.
This diverse role will see you contribute to the smooth running and operations of our Additive Department, carrying out duties from operating machinery to planning and organising workflow of the department. You will require a critical problem-solving mindset, personal drive for success, and excellent communication skills. The applicant will take ownership of the department, requiring strong organisational skills, discipline, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
* Serve as business liaison for your department for key project elements specific to your technical area of expertise.
* Provide technical oversight during project execution to ensure appropriate technical approaches are employed.
* Utilise judgment in communication styles and behaviours, recognising impact on other team members.
For this role, key competencies are as follows:
* Proven adaptability and flexibility as part of a team.
* Strong ability to plan and organise taskings.
* Basic metallurgical knowledge.
* Well-established, industry-recognised knowledge and expertise in Additive Manufacturing.
* Experience working in a high-performance environment such as high-level motorsport or aerospace.
* A demonstrated passion for Additive Manufacturing processing in manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including additive manufacturing, machining, and composites.
* Highly detail-oriented mindset ensuring outputs are accurate.
* Ability to be self-driven and work autonomously under pressure.
* Experience in complex decision making and strategic thinking when facing challenging scenarios.
