The Growth Company (GC) Education and Skills team are looking for a Resourcer who will be managing the end-to-end candidate recruitment process to fill a range of Apprenticeships in order to meet and exceed business plan targets in terms of both start volumes and achievement/retention. Managing a quality end-to-end recruitment process focused on understanding the skills/experience, support needs and career aspirations of candidates and matching them to the most appropriate opportunities in order to achieve high customer satisfaction, retention and achievement rates and to fill programmes.
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle. The role requires you to work out of one of the local offices at least one day per week.
Interviews will also be held W/C 25 November 2024 and W/C 2 December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Arrange appropriate advertising of all Apprenticeship vacancies to generate applications from the right candidates to successfully fill the range of Apprenticeship standards offered by GC - Education and Skills.
2. Plan, organise and attend internal/external recruitment events (which may be held in the early evenings) and promote provision to generate interest from candidates with the right skills/experience and aspirations to match the opportunities on offer.
3. Conduct quality-driven IAG interviews and assessments for early offer, immediate candidates to ensure learners are put onto the right programme and that all programmes are appropriately filled.
4. Provide relevant Information, Advice and Guidance to enable the candidate to make an informed choice about their career/qualification, and to maximise the number of learners staying on programme and achieving their qualifications before progressing in work or further education.
5. Carry out interviews for learners coming towards the end of their programme to help them progress to the next level or move to another positive destination.
6. Manage all candidates in the pool until they are placed onto a programme in the shortest possible time to provide a high level of customer service and to maximise recruitment outcomes.
7. Manage the end-to-end resourcing process for employer vacancies in a timely manner to provide a high level of customer service and maximise recruitment.
8. Identify opportunities for the uptake of other group products which will support the group to achieve its business plan targets.

Skills Required:
1. Ability to communicate and motivate employers and individuals to influence and build relationships.
2. Maths and English A-C/4-9 GCSE.
3. IT skills, e.g. use of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, power point and outlook). Also, knowledge of BKSB software package would be desirable.
4. Proven experience of using data capture systems.
5. IAG level 2 qualification or working towards desirable.
6. Knowledge of the education environment, nationally and in the Greater Manchester area.
7. Awareness of the differing needs of various target audiences e.g. 15-year-old schools, 19+ long-term unemployed.
8. Knowledge of learner support needs and the types of support available to learners on different programmes.
9. Previous recruitment/resourcing experience desirable.
10. Experience in working within a recruitment or apprenticeship provider environment desirable.
