Job Title: Secondary Cover Teacher Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, High Wycombe Job Type: Contract, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £180 Per day Job Duties: Provide cover teaching for secondary school classes in the absence of the regular teacher Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to ensure continuity in student learning Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and examinations Communicate with school staff and parents regarding student performance and behaviour Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or cover teaching role preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and strategies Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Part-time hours on a contract basis Work within a secondary school setting Potential for travel between different school locations All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
