Contracts Manager
Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to run, manage and develop all contracting works in their expanding team in the north west of England.
The position is based within the Preston office and involves the day-to-day organisation, co-ordination, supervision and undertaking of the company's workload. This includes marketing, liaising with clients, design of investigations and the supervision of sub-contractors and technical staff.
The role offers the opportunity to join an established company, growing to the position of Associate Director. On offer is a competitive salary plus substantial profit-sharing scheme with no limits on earnings, a company vehicle and phone.
Requirements of the role:
1. Extensive experience within the Ground Investigation industry.
2. Experience managing ground investigation contracts, including liaison with clients, design of investigations, tendering, organisation of sub-contractors.
3. Extensive experience on Geotechnical and Geo-environmental report writing.
4. Fully conversant with BS5930/Eurocode 7 and to be fully competent at supervising drilling crews on site, trial pitting, logging soils, rock and chalk strata, installation and monitoring of gas/groundwater standpipes and other instrumentation.
5. Full UK drivers' licence.
