Role Responsibilities: Leadership • Work closely and collaboratively with the Head of the GSTA to ensure that all projects and programmes are successfully delivered to a very high standard. • Be the lead on identified projects and programmes Project management • Develop and maintain the Learning Management System to support a high-quality training and events programme • Develop and maintain the LMS to manage internal training provision and support managers to ensure training needs are met • Lead on development of the new schools programme: school visits, curriculum related activities and events • Support the development of the volunteer programme – ensure communication is effective, training needs are met, volunteers are well organised and deployed • Build solid relationships with educational providers, individual trainers, charities, local authorities and our existing client base to develop awareness and engagement • Ensure sure projects meet agreed standards and deadlines • By example, set highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and best practice • Support the collaboration and synergy between divisions and geographic regions Marketing and promotion • Support the development of the GSTA’s professional profile and influence at a national level.
