OFFICE MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
C & K Services is a building maintenance company based in North West London. With over 30 years of experience within the construction industry, we specialise in property decoration, restoration, maintenance, roofing & refurbishment services. These include both internal and external refurbishments and restorations across a vast range of properties in London. In addition to our refurbishment and restoration services we also conduct planned and reactive maintenance services to cover an expansive selection of problems for commercial, residential, chartered surveyors, architects, resident associations, managing agents, landlords and property developers in the London area.
We are looking for an Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring elevated levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
The successful candidate will have extensive Management and administrative experience (10 years +) preferably within the / construction / building / maintenance industry.
Duties to include but not exclusive to:
Overall running of the office and delegation of work duties to an administration assistant.
Answering calls & responding to email enquiries and requests / consulting with Clients / Contractors etc. Therefore, a proficient command of written and spoken communication skills is necessary.
Typing of correspondence
Updating and implementing internal systems for administration and keeping up to date for e.g. Health and Safety records for Safecontractor Accreditation / Training / Vehicles / Insurance / Memberships etc.
Control of booking in system for our operatives to conduct works / ensuring receipt of works orders from Client to facilitate invoicing / Arranging access with tenants / porters.
Updating training schedules and booking new courses
Skills required
Management Role experience 8-10 Years +
Typing speed of 50 wpm +
Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Knowledge of Job logic field maintenance system or similar an advantage but not necessary as training will be arranged, but experience for implementation of internal systems required.
Resilient and able to work using own initiative
Must be an excellent collaborator with strong attention to detail and highly organized
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
