Sitting within our Premium division, Ego is a collection of 31 Mediterranean inspired Pubs and Restaurants which offer freshly cooked Mediterranean inspired food, cocktails and wine from across the continent.
Ego Mediterranean Restaurants focus on offering a wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes with fresh ingredients from our iconic Chargrilled Kebabs to more traditional Paella- all designed to offer a blend of authentic flavours and modern interpretations of Mediterranean food, appealing to a broad range of customers who seek a quality dining experience with a focus on healthy and delicious meals. Ego is the place to go for those feel good social occasions, that call for quality time and freshly prepared food & drink – we aim to radiate the good vibes that come from the Mediterranean attitude to food, and life!Ego has exciting plans over the next 2-3 years for growth and expansion, and we are looking for an expert marketeer to support us on that journey.
As Marketing Manager for Mediterranean brands, you will report into the Head of Brand Marketing for our Premium division. Joining a vibrant and innovative wider Premium Marketing team, this role is also part of a very supportive wider brand marketing division. Operating in a mobile role, this will require travel to the Midlands, on average this can be between 1-2 times a week however this may vary depending upon role requirements.

The Opportunity - Marketing Manager, Mediterranean Brands
* Your role and responsibilities are both challenging and varied, and include the following:
* Support the brands in retaining the current Market outperformance whilst understanding the next steps required to continue with this outperformance.
* Define and Execute the Mediterranean Brands immediate to mid-term strategy including the ongoing development of the offer.
* To be a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of Mediterranean proposition – including growth and expansion plans.
* Development of the complex Mediterranean Brands food offer and drink offer.
* Develop the Mediterranean brands marketing communication plans.
* Creatively evaluating consumer trends, market conditions, competitor information and implement marketing strategy accordingly.
* Manage relations and work with various agencies to include Social, creative, artwork and digital.
* Managing all brand marketing expenditure in line with agreed budgets and forecasts.
* Driving Mediterranean Brands profit, volume and market share objectives in line with company ambition.
* Developing and maximising third party relationships in conjunction with key internal stakeholders to deliver on-brand objectives and strategies.
* Coaching and development of an Assistant Marketing Manager with full line management accountability, including reviewing and managing performance and retention of team.
What we’d like to see from you:
* 4yrs + in a Brand Marketing role.
* Strong Experience of developing a food and drink offer within a complex brand.
* A strategic and commercial attitude to sales and marketing.
* Passion for food and drink, with experience of launching a significant food menu.
* Be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Creative and dynamic with the ability to multi-task, work at pace and prioritise is essential for this role.
* Self-starter, with a passion, drive and a can-do attitude.
