We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Ward Clerk’s team to provide an administrative and reception service to Maternity wards and outpatient clinics within the Maternity Unit.
You must have a high standard of literacy and numeracy and excellent keyboard skills, along with a high level understanding and working knowledge of computer systems. A friendly and outgoing approach with patients and their families is essential.
We currently have a vacancy for a part-time role, 23 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 2x12.5 hour shifts, which can include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
The position is based at Watford General Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Services.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative services to Maternity Wards and outpatient clinics in the Maternity Unit. You must have an understanding of IT systems, be able to work under pressure and multitask, and work both individually and as part of a team. Good communication, typing skills, teamwork, and time management skills are required.
