Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Leading the operational service delivery for The Dormy restaurant, Auchterarder 70 bar and the Halfway Houses on our golf course, you’ll be highly visible and the consummate professional, identifying and responding to changing needs and service priorities swiftly You’ll be delivering a warm and memorable dining experience for all our guests, across the vast F&B array in these very special outlets Taking great pride in making sure the operation runs without a hitch; our service is smooth and our guests expectations are exceeded Expertly implementing Service Forbes, LQA standard, and Gleneagles Way, our own standards framework; instilling these expectations and processes within your department and proactively managing team performance Working with our senior F&B Management team to continue the evolution & lead sourcing of new menu options, pop ups and equipment lines Building strong relationships with our members, remembering them specifically, you and your team will strive to find that “unique detail” so that we can do everything within our gift to make them feel welcome Adeptly managing reservation waves on RA daily, maximising cover capture & balancing resources; developing strong working relationships and communication with our Reservations team Flexing your financial muscles, analysing, interpreting and managing your monthly P&L, revenue, costs, expenses, budgetary targets, stock and payroll Taking accountability for the department’s guest experience and journey audit outcomes and results, ensuring return guest & special guest category recognition through reservations & service delivery Overseeing department service recovery and escalated complaint handling, referring as appropriate to our senior F&B Managers Collaborating strongly with supporting departments & key stakeholders, to ensure the successful day to day operation of the department, including Culinary, Events, F&B Support Services, Procurement and our People Team Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for: You have fantastic and extensive experience in managing a diverse, all day dining operation, ideally in a luxury environment Energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations; you’re resilient, and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities Positive, professional, and courteous attitude, you always see a glass half-full, and are consistent in your mood, manner, and behaviour.
