Your role and responsibilities In this fast-paced, high-pressure environment, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by liaising with Care Providers, ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with our established processes and policies. As a systems expert, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our social care teams, while also taking on the responsibility of delivering tasks efficiently and managing complex workloads with autonomy. Your responsibilities will include supporting our Area Business Manager, Business and Finance Officers, and the rest of the team in delivering financial and business functions. You'll act as the first point of contact, resolving financial and business performance process queries with ease. Additionally, you'll undertake a range of complex financial duties and queries, supporting the delivery of income and payment services within tight deadlines. The team the Adult Social Care (ASC) Directorate have 4 Localities across Suffolk in this role you will be part of a locality-based team where you will be supporting the Area Business Manager who is responsible for all Administration teams and sites within their locality as part of our team, you will work towards the Suffolk County Council’s Vision and ASC priorities to promote better outcomes for residents of Suffolk our team is responsible for supporting some of the most vulnerable adults in Suffolk offering services such as social services, occupational therapy professionals, helping people to maintain independence to stay at home, mental health and learning disability services, commissioning and contracting functions we work in a hybrid way and there is an expectation that you will work from the Sudbury office for at least 2 days per week which will be agreed with your manager.
