As a Personnel Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of personnel resources requested by the Account Project Managers, development of field staff, mentoring through the Totara career program, and supporting the Operations team where required.
As a Personnel Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the Personnel Team to plan and deliver contracted, compliant personnel in accordance with BH Policy, Customer Contract, and the Law.
* Ensuring timely execution of orders, instructions, and directions from the UK Operations Manager.
* Working with Account Project Managers to plan and distribute workloads amongst the team as required by the business.
* Ensuring that all field personnel are fully briefed on the work scope, their duties, risks, and HSE procedures along with the responsible account project manager.
* Maintaining effective communication with the supplier representative (3rd party agency) and the office.
* Liaising with other regional Coordinators for optimum utilization of personnel to the benefit of the business.
* Driving HSE, Quality, and Compliance culture through the UK as part of the Management Team.
* Developing a yearly project plan for all work scopes for the next financial year, keeping the plan up to date with personnel and resources, and setting minimum levels to identify shortfalls.
* Contributing to the process of continuous training and qualification improvement of employees within the Department.
* Carrying out regular performance reviews with your direct reports.
* Arranging training for subordinates on equipment, job procedures, and safety regulations.
* Participating in the On-call rota.
* Performing other assigned duties as required.
* Covering tasks in the Personnel Team for holiday and sick leave cover.
* Main user of the Fieldglass program.
* Maintaining the competency compliance tracker for the training group.
* Maintaining an understanding of the market we receive personnel from.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering subject; industry experience will be considered as a suitable substitute.
* Field experience of Process, Pipeline, and Mechanical scopes is an advantage.
* Supervisory experience is an advantage.
* Offshore experience is an advantage.
* Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft.
* Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
* Must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
* Must have an exemplary record-keeping ability and an eye for detail.
* Must be a self-starter and natural leader who can work with little to no supervision.
* Excellent safety attitude is a must; participation in all Company safety programs and adherence to all policies is required.
