From this continued success, we are now looking to recruit an Accounting Team Leader to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.
As an Accounting Team Leader, you will support the delivery of our Financial controls, funding and improvement projects. In our fast-paced, growing environment, you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the department’s objectives and contribute to the wider success of the business.
Role responsibilities:
1. Supervisory responsibility for the delivery of operational activities within the Accounting Team.
2. Responsible for delivery of daily origination payouts, purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and transactions, and monthly accruals & prepayments.
3. Management of a team of 4.
4. Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items.
5. Work with Business Partnering on cost analysis and queries.
6. Support process improvements and represent Finance on projects within the wider business.
7. Support Reporting Team with annual audit and other reporting requirements.
8. Support effective financial control environment within the wider business.
Qualifications:
1. Part Qualified/Finalist Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience.
2. Experience of working with a team to deliver daily operational efficiency.
3. Experienced in bank reconciliation and some knowledge of sales/purchase ledger activity.
