Main duties of the job As an Occupational Therapist in the team, you will support patients who would benefit from occupational therapy intervention. You will play a key role in delivering holistic, person-centred assessments and therapeutic interventions. This will include offering clinical advice on the assessment and intervention of clients' occupational and functional needs. You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team. You will embrace the delivery of best practice guidelines for Mental Health and Occupational Therapy. Working as Duty Worker is part of this role. You will need to be a dynamic clinician with good interpersonal skills to enable engagement of service users and their families or carers. You will be able to make complex decisions, formulate detailed assessments and person-centred care plans. Supporting students during their placement.
