RG Consultancy are working with a well-established and growing business based in Sandbach who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant. This is a brand-new fantastic opportunity with a company who rarely recruit. You will join a medium sized finance team and report back to the Financial Controller.

The Role:
* To support the purchase ledger, process invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner.
* Sales ledger and credit control.
* Managing petty cash.
* Processing payments and preparing refunds.
* Posting of all receipts and payments and ensure allocated correctly.
* Daily bank postings.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Supplier reconciliations.
* To support the finance department and carry out any ad hoc tasks as required by the financial controller.
The Person:
* An AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential.
* Experience using SAP or a similar system would be an advantage.
* Good MS Excel skills.
* Experience working within a purchase ledger clerk or all-around accounts role is essential.
