Fantastic permanent opportunity to lead a Design team on ECI engineering projects. This contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Control and instrumentation Design Engineer for their projects in the Northwest.
Responsibilities for ECI Design Engineer
* Provide EC&I technical services to existing clients as instructed.
* To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for the EC&I deliverables as assigned by the Framework Manager
* Effectively liaise with the Framework Manager to solve any problems which arise.
* Attend site when required.
* To ensure that the applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of EC&I delivery to the Project.
* To provide technical input during design phase, with an emphasis on construct-ability of the design.
* Ideally you will have experience of working in the gas and utilities industry.
* Creating electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.
Requirements for ECI Design Engineer
* Solid experience of Electrical Control and instrumentation engineering specifically in projects. Modifications, testing and technical review of documentation within the energy sector in particular Hazardous Area experience is essential.
* Experience of instrumentation specification and design integration
* Extensive knowledge of control and instrument design standards
* Delivery focused and able to achieve business critical timescales and work under pressure.
* Previous site works experience is desirable.
* A strong understanding of the Gas industry and design standards.
