Staff Nurse - Paediatric Critical Care
Band 5
Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit into a vacancy in our Children’s Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU).
Within Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH), we house a 14 bedded PCCU with both intensive care and high dependency beds. We care for children under a wide range of specialities, working closely alongside the Children’s Medical Emergency Transport service for the East Midlands region.
PCCU provides an essential service for Neurology/Neurosurgical; Spinal/Orthopaedic; Oncology/Haematology; Respiratory; General Surgery and Rheumatology, as well as paediatric renal services for the region. This allows staff on the unit to be actively involved with kidney transplants and hemofiltration.
We are supported by the PCCU Education Team and have a well-established foundation programme for those nurses who want to join us as newly qualified nurses.
If you are seeking a position elsewhere at NCH, please do still inquire as our vacancies may not be limited to this pathway.
