The role
We are seeking an Apprentice to join our Healthy Lifestyles service within Talk Community and work with individuals and groups to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles. The main focus of this apprenticeship role will be to work as part of a team supporting the Health & Wellbeing Trainers, other Talk Community roles and initiatives, public health initiatives and our partner organisations across Herefordshire, to identify and address health and wellbeing needs, improve health, prevent ill-health and reduce health inequalities.
Working under supervision, the role will offer practical tools and techniques, advice, knowledge and encouragement to enable and motivate people to change behaviours (stop smoking, healthy eating, reducing alcohol, improving physical activity,) and achieve better health choices and goals for themselves, their families and the wider community.

About You
As Talk Community Health and Wellbeing Apprentice you will be:
* Experienced in supporting people, their families and carers (including unpaid/voluntary work)
* Able to demonstrate the importance of promoting changes in behaviour and healthy lifestyles
