Responsibilities:
* Act as first point of contact for scheduling of the Heidelberg Materials fleet of marine aggregate dredgers.
* Customer liaison to ensure information regarding site stocks, sales, and any production issues are understood with timely feedback being provided to the Commercial and Logistics Manager.
* Support the utilisation of the fleet using monitoring and recording of key KPIs.
* Regular contact with ship's crew about orders, customer information, port information, and licence feedback.
* Ordering of material from third parties and maintain a high level of compliance and checks on charter cargos, updating tickets for sales.
* Collate customer feedback and cargo quality reporting, including quantitative and qualitative quality feedback, PSDs with trend analysis, and a record of changes to licence lanes/areas.
* Support ISO 9001, 14001 & 50001.
* Monitor port costs and update the Commercial Manager of changes.
* First point of contact for fuel ordering, ensuring accurate records are maintained on the fuel ordering system.
* Weekend duties as per a rota system.
* Weekly sales collation.
* Confirm all cargoes on a weekly basis are correct before sending for approval.
* A general administrative requirement for the operation of the department, such as light dues, customs information, and POs and coding of invoices as required.
