An exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, required in a Stretford Primary School.
Full-time role starting ASAP. A primary school in Manchester is looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in their KS2 classes as a general Teaching Assistant. The role is a long-term position starting ASAP up until the end of the academic year.
The school has achieved a grading of “good” by the new OFSTED framework. This one-form entry school has a friendly atmosphere and an extremely supportive staff structure. The role involves general class support, being able to adapt to different classroom environments day to day.

The successful candidate must have a minimum Cache 3 qualification or be a graduate with school-based experience. They should work well in a team, be enthusiastic about pupil achievement, and have some experience working in Key Stage 2. They will want to learn how to assess pupils’ progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care. A good understanding of the national curriculum and confidence in both Maths and English is required. Candidates should have a caring and nurturing nature with high expectations of behavior.
