Job Purpose The Internal Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. This role aims to maximise sales volume, support external sales efforts, and maintain operational excellence by following established company procedures. The Internal Account Manager will be pivotal in processing customer orders, monitoring order progress, and liaising with various departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The role also involves the analysis of commercial data, assisting with quotations, and managing customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and support business growth. Key Responsibilities To adhere to and follow the procedures detailed in the Bischof Klein (UK) Quality Manual. To maintain regular contact with existing accounts with the objective of maximising sales volumes. Support the Commercial Director and Sales Office Manager preparing and following up quotations tenders for existing/new customers. Raise customer credits and additional invoices for the finance team to process when required. Run and analyse commercial reports and data. To assist and support external sales staff in gaining new customers. To interpret verbal and written orders from customers and complete clear concise written works orders to ensure that the product complies with customer requirements. This will involve liaison with the Production departments. To monitor the progress of orders. Liaising with all other departments to ensure that customers delivery requirements are met, identify potential supply problems and resolve them satisfactorily. To liaise with customers to ensure that commercial finished goods stock levels are kept to the absolute minimum. To enter and progress customer complaints in order that they are resolved quickly and customer satisfaction is maintained. To perform ad hoc tasks as requested by the Commercial Director and Sales Office Manager Candidate Profile Experience : Proven experience in account management, sales support, or customer service roles, preferably in the flexible packaging or related industries. Commercial Acumen : Proficient in handling quotations, tenders, and order processing.
