Job Title: Fixed-Term NVQ 3 Riggers (Onshore)

Main Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of lifting plans for complex lifts.
2. Assist in site surveys and provide advice on equipment selection and use.
3. Supervise complicated and complex lifting operations as required.
4. Provide technical advice to client Site Representative.
5. Carry out lifting duties as required.
6. Inspect and issue equipment from site rigging loft.
7. Provide support to Company LOLER Site Competent Person.
8. Undertake other works as directed by client representatives on duties unrelated to rigging operations, including emergency duties deemed to be within your competence.
HSEQ Responsibilities:
1. It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with the Company's HSEQ Policy and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Sparrows Integrated Management System. The incumbent must report any incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to their Line Manager.
2. The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all Company processes and procedures and familiarise themselves with the emergency response arrangements applicable to them. The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Level 3 VQ in Moving Engineering Construction Loads, Rigging or suitable equivalent.
2. Safety Passport.
