Business Analyst
A dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in the UK financial services sector, particularly in pensions, ISAs, or investment products. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with teams and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with delivery squads, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
* Facilitate workshops to gather and define business requirements.
* Document Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and manage the backlog efficiently.
* Conduct process mapping for “as-is” and “to-be” processes following best practices (BPMN standard).
* Challenge assumptions and ask the right questions to gather comprehensive information.
* Work independently and as part of a team to drive progress.
* Take a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the UK financial services industry, particularly pensions, ISAs, or investment products.
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement techniques.
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively within a team.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are advantageous.
* Experience in protection products is a plus.
