What does it involve:
We are a British Council accredited, leading provider of summer school study holidays. We welcome thousands of young learners (aged 14-17) from around the world each summer. Our mission is to help students improve their English through engaging classroom lessons and a lively program of activities and excursions. We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom, and so we’re committed to creating an unforgettable summer experience.
This course is designed to teach young international learners in a business setting. The syllabus includes various elements of business, such as marketing, management, stakeholder leadership, and business ethics. Lessons and workshops will be complemented by visits to relevant places of interest, including the Bank of England and a business university.
Our students (aged 14-17) will have an English proficiency of upper intermediate. Therefore, you do not need to be an EFL teacher for this contract but it is beneficial.
What’s in it for you?
* Hours - 15-30 hours per week, allowing you time to spend exploring the city or to commit to other projects
* This is a Fixed Term Contract from approx. 28th June to 8th August 2025 (exact dates to be confirmed)
* £28.10 per hour plus holiday entitlement

* We are able to support the right candidate in obtaining their Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate
The essentials that you’ll need, to join us?
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a Business related subject, or Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL - is essential
* Hold the Bloomberg Concepts Certificate - is highly desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of Bloomberg Markets Concepts Certificate and Terminals - is advantageous
* Knowledge of or background in economics/ finance
* Educated to degree level
* Genuine interest in both the teaching and welfare of young students
* Enthusiastic approach
* Already have the right to work in the UK
* Be available for the duration of the contract
