Learning Environments and Technical Systems [LETS], part of the IT Customer Experience group, is seeking a permanent, full-time 1st Line Deployment Technician to join their busy team that deploys, installs, maintains, and replaces the technologies that underpin the delivery of teaching and learning in this leading research university.
Duties of the Role
This is a chance to be part of a core team who critically support over 4000 PCs, multifunctional printers, and 200 teaching rooms across our dynamic and growing University. The successful candidate will have sound experience of working with IT equipment, ideally in an enterprise environment. The scope of work of our 1st Line Deployment Technicians is varied. One day you will be working on everyday deployment, maintenance repair, and decommissioning equipment, and the next you could be part of a team delivering major University-wide projects and prestigious live events such as Graduation.
