Job Title: Support Worker - Supported Living Services
Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Salary: £27,730 - £28,000 per annum (inclusive of 2 sleeps ins paid at £55)
Shift pattern: 09:00-17:00 (early shifts), 17:00 - 23:00 (late shift), 23:00-09:00 (sleep shift)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker to join a fantastic supported living service for adults with mild forms of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities. You will enrich people's lives with new experiences like fun days out, football, music, and more. Your key responsibilities as Support Worker:
As the Support Worker, you will support the team leader in ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered. You will regularly complete risk assessments and keep records up to date. You will provide physical support, which may include helping with household tasks and personal care, and provide emotional support for individuals and their families. Additionally, you will support with healthcare needs, including routine checks or administering medication. You will also teach life skills, such as shopping, using public transport, and paying bills.
Essential requirements for the role:
* Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and additional needs, and/or experience in mental health or youth work is desirable but not essential.
* A Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
* Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
