Role overview:
We are seeking an analytical and highly organised Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Information Security and Privacy on the maturation and operation of the company’s risk and compliance programmes, ensuring effective risk analysis, and compliance with policies and standards in-line with ISO27001, the UK and EU GDPR, and Australian other applicable overseas privacy legislation.
This is an important role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation and is ideal for someone with a good background in risk and compliance analysis in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mature and enhance our risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
* Conduct analysis of compliance requirements and in support of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
* Create meaningful compliance metrics and measurements in support of compliance with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
* Conduct analysis of compliance requirements in support of the UK and EU GDPR, Australian, and other overseas privacy legislation
* Create meaningful compliance metrics and measurements in support of compliance with the UK and EU GDPR, Australian, and other overseas privacy legislation
* Identify and analyse risk across Tes technology teams
* Work with senior stakeholders across Tes to ensure that compliance and risk requirements and standards are clearly articulated and understood
* Work with the Head of Information Security & Privacy, and other senior stakeholders to ensure that our compliance and risk positions are known and analysed in support of company objectives and obligations
* Maintenance of the company risk and compliance management documentation
* Help improve our third-party and supply chain risk management, including supporting requests from customers
* Engage across the company as an Information Security and Privacy champion
What will you need to succeed?
* Experience in risk and compliance analysis, ideally with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 and/or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
* Experience with privacy legislation, especially the UK and EU GDPRs
* Experience in risk and compliance management
* A high-level understanding of cloud technologies
* Experience working with stakeholders
Knowledge of:
* ISO 27001
* NIST Cybersecurity Framework
* UK and EU GDPRs
* Governance, Risk and Compliance best practices
