Job Description
Job Duties:
1. Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children
2. Provide a safe and secure environment for the children
3. Observe, assess, and record each child's progress
4. Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
5. Ensure the learning environment is clean, safe, and stimulating
Required Qualifications:
6. Level 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent
7. DBS Check
Education:
8. Minimum of Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Experience:
9. Previous experience working in a similar role
10. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Knowledge and Skills:
11. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to work as part of a team
14. Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
15. First Aid Qualification
16. Food Hygiene Certificate
Working Conditions:
17. Work primarily indoors in a childcare setting
18. May involve standing for extended periods
19. Full-time hours, including some weekends and evenings
