Our client, a Social Enterprise that works alongside the NHS, is undergoing a period of growth and are looking to recruit an Part Time Clinical Support Administrator to join their team, working part time 4 days per week (hours below). The successful candidate will be part of a small friendly and professional support team that are responsible for providing administrative support to staff in the organisation which provides primary mental health care to patients in the Salford area. The role is offered on a temp to perm basis; 12 weeks on a temporary basis then transfer to permanent staff.
The role:
The main duties of this interesting and varied Part Time Clinical Support Administrator role will include:
Answering telephone calls and dealing with queries
Managing, booking and cancelling appointments on behalf of practitioners
Preparing agendas and taking minutes of meetings as requested
Inputting clinical data and checking accuracy
Liaising with patients to offer alternative options
Completing audits of referral logs
Booking interpreters if required
Updating various databases and logs
Liaising with patients and clinical staff
Dealing with incoming and outgoing posts
Scanning patient records
Meeting and greeting visitors
Providing a confidential, courteous and
Carrying out all general administration and secretarial duties
The person:
The successful candidate for this Part Time Support Administrator role will possess:
Previous relevant administration experience
Good working knowledge of MS products
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Good communication skills – both verbal and written
A flexible and willing approach to work
Able to work confidentially
Possess a compassionate and patient telephone manner
Experience within a customer support environment is desirable
Previous record and diary management experience would be required
In return this role is offered on a part time basis working 4 days per week :- Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday / Friday (Wednesdays OFF). The hours are 8am – 4.30pm each day.
Salary: (£12.60 per hour)
