Teamwork Partnership Ltd is currently recruiting for a QA Coordinator in Oldham. The successful candidate will lead a team of 10 direct reports across 3 shifts and ensure compliance with industry standards, customer codes of practice and internal requirements. They will serve as a key point of contact for quality and food safety issues during shifts and handovers, working collaboratively across departments to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Responsible to make sure that all Food Safety due diligence controls in place are controlled, understood (training), followed, completed/recorded and stored correctly. All other QA documents to be controlled, maintained, made available and stored when completed. Ensure the QA Auditors are fully trained and able to carry out the duties expected of them. Ensure that all team members reporting in have an annual PDR (Performance Development Review) and PDP (Personal Development Plan) in place. Communicate relevant information to ensure the team works as one cohesive unit. To be able to cross functionalise with other teams. Key Responsibilities New starters to have clear development plans with timescales and ensuring training matrices are up to date and completed. Managing holiday cover, absenteeism and Return to works. Train and mentor direct reports on procedures, ensuring all training records are maintained and up to date. Oversee the team’s workload and manage deadlines effectively. Support QA and Operations teams to ensure compliance with factory procedures and customer policies. Act as a point of contact for quality and food safety concerns during shifts. Participate in auditing processes, including QMS, GMP, fabrication, and CCP audits. Managing the site’s probes and scales calibration schedule and ensuring that all bakeries are being completed on time. Assist the Technical Managers with handling holds, concessions, rejections, and incidents and ensuring that those logs are kept up to date daily. Ensuring all QP030’s engineering sign back forms are completed per shift. Ensuring that site swabbing plans and testing protocols are being completed to schedule Monitor and report on technical KPIs. Manage and delegate QAS documents and line standards across the team, ensuring that all QA’s can complete this task competently. Managing sample requests across the business. Support and participate in customer visits and technical audits, ensuring successful outcomes. Assist with day-to-day BRC and retailer audit management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of non-conformances. The candidate A minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality within the food industry, ideally in a supervisory position, providing training and managing larger teams. Degree or relevant qualification in Food Knowledge or experience in HACCP and GMP Computer Experience with MS Office and other online software. Sap experience Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Full UK driving license Package 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday approximately 8am-4:30pm but there is a degree of flexibility with working hours to ensure that all QA’s across 3 shifts are looked after.
