An exciting opportunity has arisen for a second Catering Manager at Greenhead Conservatory Café to share the managerial role and responsibilities at the busy Greenhead Park café. This is a 35hr post, which involves flexible availability between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday – Sunday, including public and school holidays.
The successful applicant will need cash handling skills and the administrative ability to record income/expenditure, place orders, ensure all training is in place, liaise with suppliers and customers, and work towards legislative, financial, and quality targets. You will need the ability to manage staff, complete rotas, undertake stocktakes, market events, and continuously develop the business.
It’s, therefore, imperative that the candidate also has a sound understanding of catering and food hygiene, is reliable, customer-focused, and displays behaviors that motivate staff.
This role receives an enhancement for the shared weekend hours and any public bank holidays worked.
