This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the home, ensuring that children with emotional and behavioral difficulties receive the highest standard of care. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children and young people can thrive. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of the children’s home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support. Lead, inspire, and motivate a dedicated care team, providing supervision, training, and professional development. Develop and implement tailored care plans and risk assessments that meet the unique needs of each child. Maintain open and effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding standards. Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks to maintain efficient operations. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that values diversity and promotes the rights and well-being of all children. Regularly monitor and assess the quality of service delivery, implementing improvements as needed. Requirements Previous experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a residential children's home. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards this qualification). In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, standards, and best practices in childcare. Strong leadership skills with a focus on developing team potential and achieving outstanding outcomes. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
