Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a dynamic and successful organisation with a strong focus on delivering quality care to our population of around 600,000 people. We provide a comprehensive range of secondary care services from 2 hospitals based in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to undertake the role of a Nursery Nurse. We are looking for highly motivated members of staff to join our very busy Paediatric team within the Children’s Emergency Department at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Infants, children and young people deserve the highest quality urgent and emergency care. You will join a dedicated team of experienced and motivated nurses. You will carry out duties working alongside Medical and Paediatric Nursing staff to ensure a high quality of patient centred care is delivered to children and families from 0 to 16 years.
Good communication skills towards babies, children, young people and colleagues and the ability to organise allocated work is an essential component for this post. You will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adopt a positive attitude towards staff, children and families at all times, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, referring issues to your Line Manager as appropriate.
The role will be located in the Children’s Emergency Department at the Trust’s Tunbridge Wells site; however, there may be requirements to travel to the Maidstone Hospital site. The post-holder will be supported to achieve their competencies to fulfil the requirements of the role.
Please note that this role may often attract a high level of applications and may close earlier than the original closing date, so please ensure you submit your application as soon as possible.
