What you’ll be doing
The Smart Interventions B11 Project Coordinator/Jointer will provide operational and technical expertise to identify, plan and deliver network solutions for challenging Cut-Out upgrades reported to SPEN. This role requires close collaboration with the Smart Interventions Delivery Team and Framework Partners to resolve all reported cases in SPM.
The role includes planning, coordinating, managing and delivering all associated works required in resolving the reported issues on-site including, service disconnection works, LIVE cutout changes, shutdowns and unlooping works from conception to completion. Involvement in the management and resolution of reported CT Metering equipment issues (B12’s) will also be required.
You'll provide technical solutions for challenging Cut-Out changes in line with OFGEM SLA deadlines. Collaborate with the Smart Interventions Delivery Team and Framework Partners to complete all B11 cases. Coordinate all project aspects assigned by the Project Leader or Senior Engineer, including arranging disconnections and shutdowns. Manage site construction aspects, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and liaise with affected customers and businesses. Overseeing the full design and delivery of works in collaboration with the Engineer or Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure designs delivered comply with Company and statutory requirements and update the business on required changes as they arise, working with the engineering team.
* Ensure effective communications with customers providing regular updates in relation to project timescales and delivery.
* Respond appropriately to Customer Complaints, taking ownership and resolving as appropriate.
* Focus on continuous improvement through quality processes.
* Ensure that all projects are delivered within timescales and to costs.
* Co-ordination of field staff/material requirements etc.
* Required standard of safety, quality and environmental management met.
* Work towards a zero accident culture and lead by example.
* Deliver LIVE cutout changes/disconnections as and when required.
* Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation and actively promote customer service standards within area of responsibility.
* Update and manage all assigned cases via Salesforce.
* Comply with site and workplace audits.
* Attendance at monthly team meetings.
* All appropriate safety documentation complied with.
* Zero accident rate achieved.
* All additional costs to projects are reclaimed to the customer where appropriate.
* Provide interface with contractors and internal businesses to assist in the delivery of projects.
* Provide interface with Design & Development to establish a robust programme of works.
What you’ll bring
* Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a relevant area such as the delivery of customer funded works or SPEN investment projects.
* Computer literacy – e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
* Working knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
* Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.
* LV network switching experience desirable.
* Knowledge of the MOCOPA guide desirable.
* Current in date SPEN/DNO Live Working authorisation.
