Building Surveyor - Multidisciplinary Practice with a Public Sector Focus
A Kent-based construction consultancy with a strong emphasis on the public sector is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their head office team.
This opportunity offers the successful Building Surveyor a varied workload, continuous professional development, and the chance to work with an innovative Managing Director open to exploring new avenues and ways of working.
The Building Surveyor's Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will work across a portfolio of mixed clients, including freeholders, developers, building managers, and public sector organisations. You will deliver a range of professional services and projects across diverse building and property types.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting contract administration on a variety of projects.
Assisting with building safety works and implementing the Building Safety Act.
Utilizing building pathology to diagnose defects and provide solutions.
Managing and developing client relationships while identifying opportunities for new business.
The Ideal Building Surveyor Will Have
MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
RICS-accredited degree.
Experience within a construction-focused practice.
Familiarity with public sector projects (advantageous).
Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and related regulations.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
