We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy Central Accounting Team. What You'll Be Doing Processing high volumes of invoices efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely registration. Preparing payment runs in line with agreed terms, including securing approvals where needed. Handling supplier queries, liaising with both internal teams and external contacts to ensure smooth resolution. Reconciling supplier statements, matching transactions within the ERP system. Ensuring all accounts payable tasks are completed in line with the monthly accounting timetable. Supporting audit queries and assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes. What We're Looking For ? Finance experience - Ideally, you'll have at least 3 years' experience in a finance team, specifically in accounts payable or similar transactional roles.? Strong attention to detail - You'll be accurate, efficient, and able to meet deadlines.? Team player with initiative - You'll enjoy working collaboratively but also have the confidence to take ownership of tasks.? Great communication skills - Professional and clear when dealing with internal teams and external suppliers.? Excel proficiency - Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills are essential.?
