The Logistics Administrator assists in the coordination of timely and cost-effective despatch and delivery of equipment to project sites. The role is accountable to the Logistics Manager and is based in the Portsmouth Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the day to day Logistics activities to enable timely and cost-effective despatch and delivery of equipment to project sites in a global market.
* Provide administrative support in the creation and retention of shipping documentation
* Assisting with the management of information from point of despatch through to the point of delivery
* Liaise with project teams in relation to documentation, shipping forecasts and deliveries
* Assisting with customs formalities to ensure smooth transit and on time delivery
* Occasional visits to the Portland office will be required and possibly other locations in the UK.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Good general computer skills including the use of MS Office.

Competitive remuneration package with 25 days holiday + bank holidays a year, pension, discount voucher scheme. Full time 37 ½ hr week. Full training & support will be provided where necessary and appropriate.
