Our client is an established National FM company looking for a qualified and experienced Contracts Manager to join their team working on a commercial contract in Bellshill.
Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Bellshill, ML4 3NJ
Salary: GBP219.30 per day
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Day to Day Duties:
1. Be accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups.
3. Manage risks related to (SHEQ) safety, health, environment, and quality through RAMS, PPE, training, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors to improve contractual operational performance.
5. Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisations.
6. Manage client service delivery across multiple locations, ensuring collaborative use of resources.
7. Agree and maintain a clear business plan for the appointed contract.
8. Set, monitor, and control SLA's and KPI's, seeking opportunities to provide added value.
9. Ensure mobile personnel manage the contract according to agreed SLA's and KPI's.
10. Work with mobile teams in planning, implementing, and monitoring standards of PPM and reactive works.
11. Collaborate with operational personnel and support teams to ensure accurate logging of completion times for all works.
12. Review monthly audit checks for legislative compliance and escalate issues to the Account Manager as necessary.
Complexity:
1. Competent in managing water services within MSF's, including L8 sampling and recording.
2. Maintenance and repair of Mechanical & Electrical Systems.
3. Carry out minor electrical installation work and complete appropriate certification.
4. Fault finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
5. Basic knowledge in building fabric repairs.
Qualification or Required Experience:
1. Previous contract management experience.
2. Good experience and track record in Facilities Management.
3. Ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
4. Technical background essential.
5. H&S Qualification.
6. M&E Qualifications.
7. Water Systems and Legionella Control - HSG274.
8. Experience of using a CAFM system.
9. Full clean driver's licence.
10. Recently updated DBS within 12 months.
