St Helens Alternative Provision Service are looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic School Business Manager to become part of our Senior Leadership Team as we embark on our exciting journey towards excellence.

As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and Governors in delivering the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
You will be responsible for the effective leadership and management of the finance and operational support areas of school. Securing financial sustainability in the medium to longer term.

• Has proven leadership and organisational skills in education sector administration and financial management
• Can manage complex administrative procedures, is forward-thinking and proactive in seeking opportunities to improve school systems and processes
• Has drive, initiative and is passionate about making a difference to our children and the school community
• Is flexible, enthusiastic, reflective and resilient, and committed to their own professional development
• Keeps up with the latest relevant developments, legislation and ever-changing demands of the school business manager role
• Is a confident decision maker, has a positive attitude and can motivate and inspire others
• Is able supervise and support staff to deliver efficient operations of the school
• Has the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships
