A Technical Purchasing Specialist / Buyer with proven experience of working in a Purchasing role within a Manufacturing company with a focus on sourcing metalwork, electronics and semiconductor components, will become part of a thriving Company working within the sustainability sector. The successful Technical Procurement Specialist / Buyer will be a quality focused individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills; confident in their ability to use ERP systems to translate forecast requirements into availability and to conduct supplier assessments and re-negotiate terms of business where applicable. Key Requirements include: An Engineering Degree and ideally CIPS qualified. Proven background in Technical Purchasing within a Manufacturing company including electronic and mechanical components (Semiconductors highly beneficial). Previous ERP experience. An understanding of Change Management Systems (PLM Systems desirable). Experience using Supply Chain Risk Management Tools. A confident communicator with attention to detail and a strong customer service ethos.
