What you’ll do at work
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team as a Finance Apprentice. This position offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the financial sector and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts
* Budget Management: Assist with monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts
* Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
* Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties as required to support the finance team
* Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop financial knowledge and skills

Your training plan
The applicant will train under First Intuition Cambridge for their level 4 Professional Accounting Technician qualification. They will be expected to attend regular in-centre tuition courses throughout an 18 month period which will help develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in accountancy-related practices. First Intuition Cambridge Ltd has Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough and Milton Keynes centres.
