About the role
As a Digital Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of the Hush site by ensuring the right products reach the right customers at the right time. You will actively manage and optimise trading performance, execute strategic trading plans, and collaborate across teams to enhance site merchandising and customer experience.
What you’ll do
Trading Execution
* Monitor and optimise trading performance to drive conversion and sales.
* Execute weekly trade plans, site refreshes, new product launches, and promotions.
* Ensure seamless brand presentation through site merchandising and navigation.
* React swiftly to trade conditions and competitor activity, advising on key actions.
Site Merchandising & Optimisation
* Implement site merchandising updates across key categories.
* Utilise tools to optimise search, PLPs, and homepage strategy.
* Work closely with Buying and Merchandising to prioritise products strategically.
* Plan and execute AB tests to optimise customer experience and commercial outcomes.
Forecasting & Scenario Planning
* Develop weekly and monthly forecasts in collaboration with Finance, Merchandising, and Growth teams.
* Provide insights to shape marketing phasing and customer storytelling.
* Ensure forecasting accuracy and strategic trade actions.
Commercial Agility
* Identify risks and opportunities, implementing trading actions proactively.
* Collaborate with Growth Marketing to align traffic acquisition with site optimisation.
* Provide actionable insights in trade meetings to drive sales.
Team Development
* Lead and mentor junior ecommerce team members, fostering a collaborative and commercially driven mindset.
* Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to drive growth.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience in ecommerce trading, digital merchandising, or a related role in a fashion or DTC retail environment.
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in forecasting models and ecommerce KPIs.
* Highly analytical and data-driven with a strong focus on site optimisation and conversion.
* Ability to manage stakeholders confidently, influencing decisions at the C-suite level.
* In-depth knowledge of ecommerce tools (Centra, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Fredhopper, Content Squared, Optimizely).
* Experience working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
* Team leadership or mentoring experience with a solution-oriented mindset.
