My client specialises in taking on challenges the other suppliers can’t – working with exotic materials, ultra-tight tolerances, and demanding engineering requirements.
They are now looking for an experienced CNC Turner/Operator (Turner) to join their ever-growing team based in Bristol.
Responsibilities:
1. Involvement and attendance at SQDCP meetings in assigned area/s
2. Ensuring performance of part production to planned set and run times and quality requirements
3. Communicating Not Right First Time (NRFT) within assigned areas
4. Recording and assisting the Manufacturing Group Leader in improving the 5S organisation of the assigned Team areas and personal responsibility of machines being operated
5. Responsible for attending and participating in progress meetings as required
6. Ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, and drawings are used to produce components
7. Setting up tools, offsets, etc. ready for operation and assisting Operators where appropriate
8. Ensuring Delivery Schedule Adherence of parts to system/route card dates
9. Responsible for ensuring work is completed on time in full to process routing/system date requirements
10. Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls
11. Producing high complexity components from a range of materials
12. Adhering to quality standards
Requirements:

2. Producing high complexity components from a range of materials
3. Adhering to quality standards
4. Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings
On Offer:
37 hours per week Monday – Thursday 07:30 am – 16:00 pm and Friday 07:30 am – 12:30 pm (OT Fridays 12:30-16:00 paid at 1.5x)
