Do you have the skills, patience, and dedication to make a difference in a child's education? We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to work full-time in our primary school, providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ADHD.
- Work closely with the pupil to provide consistent and tailored support throughout the school day.
- Assist the pupil in managing their focus and engagement during lessons and activities.
- Use positive behavior management strategies to encourage and sustain progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement an effective support plan.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to help the pupil thrive academically and socially.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with ADHD or additional needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to individual learning needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the pupil's changing needs throughout the day.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience in supporting pupils with behavioral or attention-related needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
