Working 6 ¼ hours a week and required as soon as possible, we require a new lunchtime organiser to support provision at lunchtimes. Lunchtime organisers support the school’s team of Teaching Assistants, who organise, run and staff lunchtimes at our happy and well organised school.
The primary role of the Lunchtime Organiser is to ensure that the children have a safe and happy environment in which to enjoy their meal and breaktime. Based initially in the school halls, duties will include supervising and assisting children in the dining room, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all users. After supporting and accompanying pupils whilst eating their meals, lunchtime organisers then move outside and encourage good quality play outside and supervising the children’s activities.
We are looking for applicants who understand the importance of high standards of hygiene in a food environment and who have a commitment to ensure that our children have an active and happy lunch break.
