Key Responsibilities:
📊 Lead audit engagements: Support the audit partner by planning, executing, and completing audit assignments for a range of clients.
📑 Financial statements preparation: Prepare management accounts and statutory accounts for limited companies and groups.
🧾 Tax calculations: Create corporation tax calculations and returns for corporate clients.
🗂️ Compliance support: Assist with compliance tasks, including VAT returns.
💬 Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, becoming a trusted advisor.
👨🏫 Team development: Train and supervise junior team members, supporting their ongoing development and professional growth.
Requirements:
📜 ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
🧑💻 Experience in audit, accounting, and tax services, with a solid understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax legislation.
💻 Proficient in using audit, accounting, and tax software.
🚗 Full clean driver's license: Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
⏱️ Organisational skills: Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
🗣️ Strong communication Skills: Confident in liaising with clients and internal teams, providing clear guidance and updates.
