Job Title: Part-Time Art Teacher/Instructor, SEMH Alternative Provision

Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to students in a SEMH alternative provision setting
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the holistic development of students
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for art, teaching at GCSE Level
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Art or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Art Education
* Training or certification in special education or mental health support
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, Monday & Wednesdays
