Robert Half is currently engaging with a market-leading service provider that is looking to recruit a London based IT manager on an initial contract-to-permanent basis.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT manager to take charge of our IT operations and infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on individual who can effectively manage and execute IT projects, ensure the smooth operation of our systems, and provide technical support to our team.
Role:
1. Liaise with external vendors, including their managed service provider
2. Respond to IT queries via the ticket system, chat, email, or phone.
3. Train staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
4. Write, edit, and revise training documents.
5. Provide technical assistance and resolve network/system issues.
6. Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and request feedback.
7. Run reports to analyse common complaints and improve training.
8. Install or update software, and set up new computers and mobile phones.
9. Manage IT stock and ensure the availability of replacement items.
10. Provide out-of-hours support for the executive team.
11. Replace end-of-life computers and support A/V systems.
12. Maintain CCTV, UPS, access control, and print server systems.
13. Monitor and maintain our various London offices.
Profile:
14. Experience working within small teams or as a standalone IT Manager
15. Strong troubleshooting skills with PC and Apple Mac hardware/software.
16. Experience supporting the full Microsoft stack
17. Experience with network issues and analysis.
18. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
19. Flexibility for out-of-hours support.
20. Ability to manage and maintain various IT systems and vendors
21. Must be able to start in the next 1/2 weeks
Organisation:
22. 3 month initial contract to permanent
23. 5 days a week in their Central London based Office
24. Permanent: 65k-70k
